Tom Homan said federal immigration officers will not be deterred by protests in Minneapolis and that Immigration and Customs Enforcement is sending additional personnel to the city amid ongoing demonstrations following last week’s shooting of Renee Good.
Speaking on Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla, Homan accused Democratic mayors, governors, and members of Congress of staying silent during the past four years on border enforcement issues. He argued that critics are now objecting for political reasons, saying they “hate Trump more than they love their communities,” and claimed that ICE enforcement actions are producing daily “wins.”
Homan also warned that officers will respond more aggressively to confrontations on the ground. He said ICE is adding agents so teams are not outnumbered and insisted that anyone who crosses a police line or lays hands on an ICE officer will be arrested, stating, “We’re not gonna be intimidated.”
