Brooklyn Peltz Beckham is standing by what he shared on social media about his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, and their alleged attempts to interfere in his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.

According to an insider, Brooklyn has no regrets about speaking out publicly and remains aligned with Nicola and her family. The source says he feels justified in expressing his perspective and is committed to the stance he’s taken.

The comments come days after the 26-year-old posted a series of emotional Instagram Stories claiming his mother, 51, and father, 50, have tried for years to drive a wedge between him and Nicola.

In one of the messages posted Monday, Jan. 19, Brooklyn alleged that his family prioritizes publicity and brand-building above everything else, writing that “Brand Beckham comes first.” He also claimed the image of the Beckhams as a “perfect family” is not the reality behind the scenes, and said his wife has faced repeated disrespect.

Brooklyn and Nicola, 31, married in April 2022 in Palm Beach, Florida, in front of nearly 600 guests at her family’s estate.

Brooklyn also accused members of his family of dismissing Nicola on the eve of the wedding. In his posts, he said relatives told him she was “not blood” and “not family,” adding that once he began standing up for himself, he faced what he described as relentless attacks from his parents.

He further claimed that Victoria disrupted the wedding’s planned first dance. Brooklyn wrote that the moment had been organized weeks ahead as a romantic dance between him and his wife, but alleged his mother intervened instead.

“My mum was waiting to dance with me instead,” he wrote. Brooklyn claimed she danced “very inappropriately” with him in front of guests, and said he felt uncomfortable and humiliated.

He also alleged that Victoria, who is a fashion designer, backed out of making Nicola’s wedding dress at the last moment despite Nicola’s excitement about wearing her design.

After the wedding, Victoria posted a photo of her own outfit on Instagram. In that image, her slip dress appeared nearly white, though it looked silver in other photos from the event.

Brooklyn ended his posts with a firm statement about where he stands now, writing: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

Representatives for David and Victoria Beckham did not respond to a request for comment.

Earlier this month, a source familiar with the situation said David and Victoria have repeatedly asked Brooklyn and Nicola to meet and talk in hopes of moving forward amid the ongoing family rift. The source added that David remains deeply devoted to his children.
