Cardi B responded after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) publicly commented on remarks she made about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during a recent concert.
At the kickoff of her Little Miss Drama Tour in Palm Desert, California, the 33-year-old rapper addressed the crowd during a moment that later spread widely online. In video footage shared on X, she appeared to tell fans that if ICE showed up, she and others would confront agents and protect concertgoers, before launching into her song “I Like It.”
The comments drew attention on social media, including from DHS, which reposted a report about the moment and added a message referencing Cardi B’s past statement that she had once drugged and robbed men before becoming famous.

Cardi B, whose legal name is Belcalis Almánzar, replied on X by shifting the focus to Jeffrey Epstein and calling for more attention on recently discussed Epstein-related documents.
Separately, newly reported data obtained by the University of California, Berkeley’s Deportation Data Project examined nearly 220,000 ICE arrests from Jan. 20, when Donald Trump began his second term, through Oct. 15, 2025. The dataset—compiled internally and released through litigation—indicated that close to one-third of those arrested during that period had no criminal record, though it did not distinguish between minor and serious prior offenses for those with convictions.
