The cause of death has been confirmed for a couple found unresponsive inside an RV during a festival in England, according to multiple reports.
Kayleigh Coll, 38, and Christopher Coll, 45, were discovered inside a camper van on Pound Lane in Hampshire at around noon on Oct. 12, 2025, the BBC reported. The couple had returned to the vehicle after attending the nearby New Forest Cider Festival, according to Metro.
Winchester Coroner’s Court later ruled that the pair died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Reports indicate that a gas heater was found inside the RV at the time.
On the day of the discovery, paramedics alerted police to what was described as the “unexpected death” of two people in the vehicle. Authorities initially treated the deaths as unexplained but not suspicious, according to the BBC, citing Hampshire Constabulary.

A full inquest into the deaths is scheduled to resume on July 22.
The loss of Kayleigh and Christopher, who shared four children, has had a profound impact on their family. A GoFundMe campaign created to support their loved ones describes the devastating aftermath.
“The impact of their deaths has hit everyone around them extremely hard, but especially their four children, Shyla, Alex, Kaizer, and Emily, who they leave behind,” organizer Laura Fox wrote.

“Unfortunately, due to the loss of them both, the funeral costs on both families are huge, alongside trying to figure out arrangements for the children and sorting out their home,” the page added.
The fundraiser has raised more than $30,000 toward a $35,000 goal to help cover funeral expenses and support the children.
In a statement shared with the BBC, the family said, “Chris and Kayleigh were much-loved by everyone who knew them. Our priority now is to protect and support their children and allow our families the privacy and time we need to grieve.”
