Cruz Beckham Posts Cryptic Instagram Backed to Mom Victoria Beckham’s ‘Not Such an Innocent Girl’

Cruz Beckham is wading into the Beckham family’s latest drama — or at least that’s how fans are reading it.

The 20-year-old musician raised eyebrows on Thursday, Jan. 22, when he shared a pair of cryptic Instagram Stories just days after his brother Brooklyn Beckham posted explosive claims about their parents, Victoria and David Beckham, on Monday.

A throwback Victoria track — and a message fans think is deliberate

In his first story, Cruz posted a snapshot of himself holding a can of Guaraná Antarctica, a Brazilian soft drink made from the guaraná berry. The photo itself didn’t offer much context — but the soundtrack did.

Cruz paired the image with “I’m Not Such an Innocent Girl,” Victoria’s 2001 track. He didn’t add any caption or explanation, but fans quickly speculated the choice was intentional — possibly part of the recent push online to boost the song’s chart performance.

Others saw the track as a not-so-subtle nod to the long-rumored tension between Victoria and Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, 31 — a feud that has been repeatedly linked to the couple’s April 2022 wedding and ongoing behind-the-scenes friction, based on Brooklyn’s recent Instagram claims.

“Loneliest Boy” — and speculation about Brooklyn’s estrangement

Cruz’s second story showed a photo of a white sheet of paper reading “Loneliest Boy,” positioned above additional text that read “Verse 1.”

Again, he provided no caption. But the timing led some viewers to connect the post to Brooklyn’s apparent estrangement from the family.

“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” Brooklyn, 26, wrote on Monday.

Ongoing strain — and a recent “like” that added fuel

Cruz’s posts land amid months of reported strain inside the extended Beckham family, including claims of people being blocked on social media and the Peltz Beckhams appearing absent from major family holidays and events.

And this isn’t the first time Cruz’s online activity has drawn attention. Recently, he liked an Instagram Reel that mocked Brooklyn’s allegation that their mother disrupted his and Nicola’s first wedding dance and “humiliated” him.

Shared by comedian Olly Hume, the Reel reenacts the moment as a DJ announcement — “And now for the song requested by the mother of the groom for her first dance with her son” — before cutting to the song “Pony” by Ginuwine.
