Donald Trump Jr. and socialite Bettina Anderson have continued to make headlines as their relationship, which began in 2024, becomes increasingly public.

The eldest son of President Donald Trump was first seen with Anderson in August 2024, and the two were later photographed holding hands during a December evening stroll in Palm Beach, Florida. The sightings came amid reports that Trump Jr. and his longtime fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, had started spending more time apart.

According to sources, Trump Jr. and Anderson had already been seeing each other for several months by that point. “For the most part, Kim has looked the other way because she loves the power and lifestyle,” one insider alleged to PEOPLE in late 2024.

Who Is Bettina Anderson?

Anderson, 38, hails from Palm Beach and is the daughter of the late banking executive Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and philanthropist Inger Anderson. Her father was known as the youngest bank president in the country and held various leadership roles, including on the national board of the American Red Cross.

Anderson has five siblings and credits her mother as a major influence. “My mom has always been an inspiration to me,” she said in a 2022 interview with Fashion Week Daily.

A Columbia University graduate with a degree in art history, Anderson has modeled professionally and was featured on the cover of Quest magazine in 2020. She’s also a well-known figure in Palm Beach’s social circles and was profiled by Palm Beach Illustrated in 2021.

A Commitment to Charity and Conservation

In line with her family’s philanthropic legacy, Anderson co-founded The Paradise Fund, a nonprofit focused on disaster relief and environmental causes. She currently serves as executive director of the organization, now known as Paradise.ngo. In 2021, she helped launch the Project Paradise Film Fund to support environmental storytelling in Florida.

“One of the greatest focuses of my life is how I can be of service to others and be a steward of the environment,” she told Fashion Week Daily.

A Shift from Guilfoyle to Anderson

Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle began dating in 2018 and announced their engagement in 2020. But by mid-2024, rumors began to swirl about trouble in the relationship. Trump was first seen with Anderson on a brunch date in August, and by December, he had joined her birthday dinner at Palm Beach hotspot Buccan. The pair were later seen walking hand-in-hand on the beach.

Sources claimed Trump Jr. even introduced Anderson as his girlfriend during a trip to Alaska, allegedly while still publicly linked to Guilfoyle. One day later, President Trump nominated Guilfoyle to serve as U.S. ambassador to Greece — a move some insiders saw as an intentional effort to create distance.

“Kim is not a nice person and always wants the limelight,” a source claimed. “They’re offering her a position so she’ll be satisfied.”

Another insider added, “They are trying to send Kim abroad. They waited until after the election to avoid causing any political complications.”

Anderson accompanied Trump Jr. to several high-profile events in 2025. In January, she joined him for the New Year’s Eve celebration at Mar-a-Lago, which also doubled as his birthday party. The two were seen arriving together and holding hands.

In July, they appeared at the FIFA Club World Cup alongside President Trump and First Lady Melania. Photos captured the couple kissing on the tarmac in Teterboro, New Jersey. Later that month, Anderson appeared in family photos during a trip to Scotland, standing beside Trump Jr. and two of his children, Spencer and Chloe.

Anderson was also spotted at the Republican National Convention in July 2024, seated just behind Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle, and even seen conversing with his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump.
