Jenna Johnson is clapping back after a cruel comment targeted her toddler.
The Dancing With the Stars pro took to Instagram to defend her 2-year-old son, Rome, after a social media troll sent her a direct message mocking the child for drinking from a bottle.
The 31-year-old choreographer revealed the message came from another mom — a woman whose profile photo showed her holding a baby. The message cruelly read: “Way too old for this fat r**d to have a bottle.”

“What world are we living in?”
Clearly shaken, Johnson didn’t ignore the message. She publicly reposted it on her Instagram Stories and responded directly.
“I am totally fine when other moms offer kind, constructive advice — and I’m always open to feedback to an extent. But this?” she wrote. “This woman, a fellow mother, decided to DM me that.”
Expressing her disbelief and disappointment, Johnson continued:
“What world are we living in? Yes, I share parts of my life online. But this kind of toxic, hateful comment about a child? From another mom? Would you want me — a stranger — to say that to your baby just because he’s drinking from a bottle?”
“Respectfully, get a life”
Johnson didn’t hold back in her final response, telling the troll to “unfollow me and respectfully get a life.” She then turned her attention to the wave of love she received from her fans after speaking out.
“I honestly cried reading your messages. My heart really hurt yesterday seeing how cruel some people can be. But then… this amazing community reminded me there’s still so much kindness out there,” she shared. “You all showed up for me and for Rome, and I’m so grateful for that.”

Johnson and her husband, fellow DWTS star Val Chmerkovskiy, welcomed Rome in January 2023. Since then, she’s been open about motherhood — and now, unapologetically protective of her son.
