Authorities have launched an investigation into a fatal multi-vehicle collision that claimed the life of an 11-year-old boy on Friday evening. Seth Fulton died at a local hospital following a crash involving his bicycle, a car, and a bus.
The Derbyshire Constabulary reported that the incident occurred on Nottingham Road in Chaddesden shortly before 6:45 p.m. local time. Emergency services transported Fulton to a nearby medical facility with critical injuries, but he was later pronounced dead.
As of Tuesday, law enforcement officials confirmed that no arrests have been made. Investigators are currently working to reconstruct the events leading up to the collision.

“He was a lovely colorful lad, independent and cheeky,” his parents stated. “He had a thirst for knowledge, was fearless, very sociable, and would speak to anyone.”

Fulton was an avid enthusiast of skateboarding and BMX riding. His family highlighted his compassionate nature and his ability to connect with others through humor and “silly jokes.”
“He was a sweet child that was full of life,” the family concluded. “He was a so very loved son, brother, grandson, and nephew.”
