A 10-year-old Florida girl who was last seen at a mall with her mother in June is missing, and investigators say her mother now claims she doesn’t know where the child is.

Gabrielle Patricia Terrelonge was last seen on June 30, when she and her mother, 34-year-old Passha Bianca Davis, got off a Greyhound bus at the Florida Mall in Orlando, according to police.

Gabrielle was reported missing by her father, Gordon Terrelonge, on Oct. 29, after he learned that Davis had been arrested in Margate on Oct. 17, according to reports from CBS News, Fox 13 Tampa Bay and WPLG.

Not long after, the FBI issued a missing child alert.

Broward County Crime Stoppers initially announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to Gabrielle, later increasing the amount to $10,000.

Police body camera footage from Oct. 17 shows Davis refusing to identify herself when Margate officers stopped her on suspicion of shoplifting, according to WPLG and CBS News, which broadcast the video.

She was arrested and charged with unlawfully using a false name and resisting arrest, online court records state.

During the stop, Davis did not mention that her daughter was missing, the outlets report. That omission prompted authorities to investigate the girl’s whereabouts, CBS News reports.

In an Oct. 31 jailhouse interview, when investigators asked Davis about Gabrielle, she allegedly told them the girl was with her father, according to police, as reported by CBS News, WPLG and NBC 6.

Davis was released from jail on a $200 bond, court records show.

On Nov. 4, she was arrested again and charged with child neglect without great bodily harm, according to online court records.

An arrest report obtained by CBS News states that Gabrielle’s father told police he had not seen his daughter since May.

Davis is currently being held in the Broward County jail on a $100,000 bond.

She appeared in a South Florida courtroom after being ordered on Nov. 19 to undergo a mental health evaluation and made an obscene gesture when she noticed TV cameras, NBC 6 reports.

During the hearing, the judge said the court was waiting on the evaluation results.

“Various parties have some concerns of how you’re doing from a mental health standpoint,” the judge told Davis, according to NBC 6.

At a Nov. 19 press conference, Gordon Terrelonge pleaded with the public for help, saying he was “desperate” to find his daughter, CBS News reports.

“I beg, I’m begging from the bottom of my heart,” he said. “I just want to find my daughter. I want her to come home.”

With Gabrielle still missing, he said the upcoming holidays feel unbearable. “There’s no holiday for me…unless we find her,” he added, according to CBS News.

Davis’ public defender did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Anyone with information about Gabrielle’s whereabouts is urged to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS or the FBI.
