Amanda Cerny is celebrating a milestone moment after getting engaged to her longtime partner, Johannes Bartl, during a private jet flight — with their newborn twins right by their side.
The influencer and former Playboy model, 34, and the Serhant real estate agent announced their engagement on Sunday, Jan. 4, sharing the joyful news on Instagram.
Cerny posted a video capturing Bartl’s surprise proposal mid-flight. In the clip, Bartl kneels in front of her as she sits in her plane seat, visibly emotional as she wipes away tears while he delivers a heartfelt speech. Though the audio wasn’t shared, the moment spoke for itself.
Bartl then presented a striking engagement ring featuring a large blue oval-shaped stone surrounded by small diamonds. Cerny called the ring “gorgeous” as the couple embraced and kissed. Overcome with emotion, Bartl celebrated the moment by pumping his fist toward the camera and exclaiming, “She said yes!”
Moments later, he stepped closer to the camera, pointing to tears on his face. “I could not hold it back,” he said. “It was the most difficult question I ever asked in my entire life.”
In her caption, Cerny reflected on their journey together: “Come fly with me 🥹. We were friends first. Then we chose each other. Ten years, homes built, pups raised, and two beautiful lives created… And now… we’re officially engaged 🎉🎉🎉 🤍.” She has more than 21 million followers on Instagram.
Bartl also shared photos from the proposal, revealing two very special witnesses: the couple’s newborn twins, daughter Annabelle and son Klaus, who were born in December. One image showed Bartl celebrating with a glass of wine while standing beside the babies, who rested in car seats wrapped in personalized blankets. Other photos captured the couple holding hands and Cerny proudly showing off her engagement ring, as well as a sweet moment of her balancing motherhood duties during the flight.

Bartl kept his caption short and joyful: “She said YES! ❤️❤️❤️.”
Just days after announcing the birth of their twins on Dec. 17, Cerny shared that she and Bartl spent time bonding with their newborns at the Four Seasons in St. Louis over Christmas. She wrote that the hotel now holds a deeply special place in their hearts.

“While I do owe a sincere apology for the aggressive towel usage as first-time parents 😅, the team made sure we were fed, cared for, and completely supported while we focused on feeding Klaus and Annabelle,” she shared. “Every sleepy, sacred moment of this stay will live in our hearts forever.”
On Dec. 26, Cerny posted a holiday photo of the couple with their twins and two dogs by a Christmas tree, along with other festive moments from the season. “Dreams come true. Merry CHRISTmas 🥹🎄,” she wrote.
