A Pennsylvania influencer was arrested on arson charges after allegedly setting her mobile home on fire in what appeared to be an attempt to die by suicide.

Drew Mehalick-Headley, known as “Drew Disaster” on social media, where she has more than 300,000 followers, was taken into custody after the Aug. 27 fire, according to authorities in Middletown, Penn., UpNorthLive, PennLive and the Daily Voice reported.

Middletown Borough police said they received multiple reports about social media posts Mehalick-Headley made, including a goodbye message, UpNorthLive reported, citing court documents.

A screenshot of a Facebook post from Aug. 27, shared by the outlet, read in part: “Please don’t be sad, as I’m finally free and no longer in pain, the way I wished to be for so long.” She ended the note with: “Goodbye friends.”

Fire officials responded to the blaze at Mehalick-Headley’s mobile home the same day. Court documents cited by PennLive, UpNorthLive and the Daily Voice said the 29-year-old allegedly admitted to setting the fire.

It was not immediately clear whether the social media posts or the fire were reported first.

In a video posted on her Instagram around the same time, Mehalick-Headley was seen petting two of her cats and saying: “Please cremate me or bury me in the shroud. I love you all I truly do,” UpNorthLive reported.

Police said one of the cats died in the fire. The blaze also endangered two nearby trailers just a few feet from her home.

Mehalick-Headley’s content focused on beauty tutorials, fashion, humor, and lifestyle, including Halloween and anime-inspired videos, PennLive reported. Her Instagram was unavailable as of Friday. Her YouTube bio reads: “Be Bold. Stay Weird. Love Yourself.”

Following her posts, several followers wrote supportive messages, saying how she had inspired them.

“Drew, I really hope you’re okay. I watched your videos as a teenager and you helped me grow so much confidence in being who I am,” one follower wrote, according to UpNorthLive.

“Your confidence to just be, your sense of fashion and just the way you put yourself out there, played a big part in the person I am today,” another follower said.

Mehalick-Headley has been charged with arson causing danger of death or bodily injury, arson endangering property, risking catastrophe, and aggravated cruelty to animals, according to online court records reviewed by PEOPLE.

The records did not list plea or attorney information.
