Influencer Jack Doherty Charged with Drug Possession and Resisting Arrest in Florida

Jack Doherty, 22, was arrested in Miami-Dade County on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 8:48 a.m. local time, according to public county records. He faces three charges: possession of a controlled substance (amphetamine), possession of 20 grams or less of cannabis, and resisting arrest.

Representatives for Doherty and the Miami Police Department (MPD) did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Hours before his arrest, Doherty shared several Instagram Story posts showing him on a yacht and directing followers to livestreams on the app Parti.

The influencer has built a massive online presence with more than 28 million combined followers across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, becoming widely recognized for stunt and prank content.

Doherty previously made headlines in October 2024 after crashing his $200,000 McLaren sports car while livestreaming. A video shared at the time showed him looking down at his phone while navigating heavy rain, leading to a loss of control before the vehicle skidded across multiple lanes and struck a metal barrier. More than 185,000 people were reportedly watching his Kick stream before it was removed.

According to public records, Doherty’s bond for the current charges was set at $3,500 and has since been posted.
