In a recent TikTok video, Kai said she hopes to graduate college and compete on the LPGA Tour within five years. Alongside her athletic ambitions, she emphasized building a digital presence and launching her own brand.
“I can really see myself hopefully being on the LPGA Tour playing professional golf,” she said. “But also maintaining my socials and create my own brand, as well.”
She added that undisclosed projects are already underway, hinting at “big things in the future.”
The response was swift. Critics flooded comment sections, accusing Kai of being “out of touch” and “tone-deaf,” with some urging her to “read the room”—a phrase often used online to call out perceived insensitivity to current social or economic conditions.
