Katy Perry, 41, and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, 53, made their first public appearance as a couple on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The pair attended a cabaret performance at the Crazy Horse Paris to celebrate Perry’s birthday, according to TMZ. Photos captured the two leaving the venue hand in hand, smiling as they stepped out into the Paris night.
Perry stood out in a striking red dress, while Trudeau opted for an understated all-black outfit — a sleek contrast to her bold look.
The couple first sparked dating rumors over the summer when they were spotted on a dinner date in Montreal, Canada. At that time, Perry had recently ended her engagement to Orlando Bloom in June, while Trudeau had separated from his wife, Sophie Grégoire, in 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
After a few quiet months, the pair were photographed again in September, sharing affectionate moments aboard a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara.

Reports later suggested that Trudeau had been “pursuing” the Grammy-nominated artist since their time in Montreal, even flying to California to see her during her tour break. The two were said to share an “easy connection,” with Perry reportedly finding Trudeau both respectful and attractive.
Currently, Perry is performing around the world on her Lifetimes Tour, supporting her latest album, 143. The tour began in Mexico City in April and has since included stops across the United States, Canada, and Australia before heading to other international destinations. Trudeau was also seen attending her sold-out show at Montreal’s Bell Centre earlier this year.

On her birthday, Perry shared a lighthearted Instagram Story that featured a joke about her mother, Mary Perry, “releasing” her into the world the same way the pop star might release a new single.
Earlier that week, she also posted a celebratory message marking the start of Scorpio season, writing, “We have officially entered Scorpio szn ♏️🦂.”
