Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was not amused by her portrayal in the latest episode of South Park.
In the second episode of the long-awaited 27th season, which aired Wednesday, an animated Noem leads a squad of newly trained ICE agents — one of them being South Park Elementary counselor Mr. Mackey.
The tactical team storms a performance of Dora the Explorer Live! with orders to “take these bad hombres down.” After a reminder that “many Latinos are in heaven,” the group raids there too.
“Remember, only detain the brown ones,” Noem instructs as angels scatter to avoid capture. “If it’s brown, it goes down!”
The episode also takes repeated jabs at the former South Dakota governor’s widely criticized anecdote about killing her puppy. Noem had written in her 2024 memoir No Going Back about shooting what she described as a “less than worthless” hunting dog. In the parody, she guns down dogs throughout the episode — from a service dog to Superman’s pet, Krypto.
What seemed to bother her most, however, was the show’s mockery of her recent cosmetic updates. In the episode, Noem’s facial features repeatedly slide off and must be reapplied by a glam team.
“It never ends, but it’s so lazy to constantly make fun of women for how they look,” Noem, 53, told Glenn Beck on his podcast Thursday. “It’s always the liberals and the extremists who do that. If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can’t, [so] they just pick something petty like that.”
She admitted she hadn’t actually seen the episode, saying she was busy “going over budget numbers and stuff.”

Despite the pointed parody, some of President Trump’s allies have embraced their appearances on South Park. Vice President J.D. Vance shared a screenshot of his animated self on X, writing, “Well, I’ve finally made it.” Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, also spoofed in the same episode, swapped his profile picture to the show’s depiction of Cartman as his “master debater” alter ego. ICE itself joined in, posting a still of the episode’s fictional recruits with a recruitment link.
South Park reposted the ICE image with the caption, “Wait, so we ARE relevant? #eatabagofdicks” — a jab at the Trump White House’s reaction to the season premiere, when officials claimed the show “hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.”
“The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end — for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as ‘offense’ content, but suddenly they are praising the show,” White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers said in a statement. “Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows.”
