Messages of support from across the MAGA movement surfaced Thursday after reports that Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., fell outside his home.

According to his office, he was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital “out of an abundance of caution.”

“During an early morning walk, Senator Fetterman sustained a fall near his home in Braddock. Upon evaluation, it was established he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up that led to Senator Fetterman feeling light-headed, falling to the ground and hitting his face with minor injuries,” his office said in a statement to X.

Right-leaning users quickly posted encouraging replies to the Democratic senator’s update.

“We are rooting for you to make a full comeback,” commented Eric Daugherty, a Florida conservative news personality.

Magical Trevor, a right-leaning X user with more than 41,000 followers, also responded:
“Damn dude 🙁 Take care of yourself, man. We don’t agree, but I respect the hell out of you.”

Fetterman has dealt with ongoing health issues since a stroke ahead of his 2022 Senate race, which raised questions about his capacity to serve. Despite those concerns, he has carved out an independent profile in the Senate, breaking with progressive colleagues on issues such as immigration, support for Israel, and recently voting with Republicans to end the nation’s longest government shutdown.

That record wasn’t lost on supporters posting Thursday.

“I identify as MAGA and don’t agree with you on most policies. I do appreciate your unwavering support for Israel and your priority to putting our country first during the shutdown,” wrote Donna Naylor, a retired wife and grandmother. “I pray for a quick recovery and send prayers and healing thoughts to you and your family at this time.”

Another X user, Kathy Schroeder, shared a similar message:
“Lord God, protect Senator Fetterman. He brings sanity and authenticity to the Democrat party, and we need him.”

Fetterman’s team has not issued an update following the initial announcement, but noted he was “grateful for the EMTs, doctors and nurses who are providing his care.”

The senator tried to lighten the mood, joking on X:
“If you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now!”
