Jane Ogletree from Provo, Utah, got the surprise of a lifetime—and the joyful reunion left her in tears.
The beloved mom hadn’t seen all seven of her daughters together in nearly two years, with each one living in different parts of the country: Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Texas, and Utah.
Jane had been invited to speak at a large women’s conference and was feeling nervous about the event. That’s when her daughters came up with the perfect plan: calm her nerves and give her a memory she’d never forget by reuniting—all of them—for the first time in almost two years.
On May 1, while Jane was busy preparing and not answering her phone, one daughter who lives nearby stopped by to deliver a Swig drink—her favorite. Moments later, Jane heard a knock at the door.
When she opened it, all seven daughters were standing there, smiling.
Stunned, Jane gasped, screamed, and then broke down in tears as they poured into the house to hug her.
The emotional moment was captured on video by several of her daughters and later shared online by daughter Callie, who noted that there were actually eight daughters present that day—because their sister-in-law is fully part of the family.
After the surprise, the daughters whisked Jane away for a relaxing day of pampering, including getting her nails done and enjoying a celebratory lunch.
“We were all nervous she might be overwhelmed,” Callie wrote. “But her reaction was everything we hoped for—it made every dollar and mile worth it.”
“She’s always doing so much for others,” she added. “This was our turn to do something special for her—and we were all in tears.”
Despite living far apart, the sisters said that any time they manage to reunite is unforgettable—and this one will be hard to top.
