Freshly disclosed emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate are prompting renewed questions about former Prince Andrew’s alleged involvement in Epstein’s abuse network.

On Wednesday, Nov. 12, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released 23,000 documents tied to Epstein’s finances, business activities, and alleged sex trafficking operations. Among them is an email referencing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s connection to Virginia Giuffre — a trafficking survivor who appears in a widely circulated photograph with Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell.

In 2015, Giuffre named Andrew in a lawsuit against Epstein, alleging that she was trafficked to him as a minor and forced into three sexual encounters.

Andrew has consistently denied the allegations. In his 2019 BBC Newsnight interview, he questioned the authenticity of the photograph, saying he had no memory of it being taken.

However, a newly released message may contradict that assertion. In a July 2011 email to Peggy Siegal, Epstein wrote:

“Yes she [Giuffre] was on my plane and yes she had her picture taken with Andrew.”

Another email appears to show Andrew seeking assistance from Epstein and Maxwell to distance himself from allegations involving another young woman. In the message — allegedly written by Andrew — he stated:

“Please make sure that every statement or legal letter states clearly that I am NOT involved and that I knew and know NOTHING about any of these allegations. I can’t take any more of this my end.”

Epstein also emailed his publicist about attempting to undermine Giuffre’s statements, writing that “The girl who accused Prince Andrew can also easily be proven to be a liar,” adding that he believed the palace “would love it.”

By January 2022, Queen Elizabeth stripped Andrew of his military roles and patronages after he attempted to dismiss Giuffre’s lawsuit. He later settled with her privately for an undisclosed amount.

On Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, King Charles announced he was formally removing Andrew’s remaining royal titles, including the style of prince.

This decision followed a series of damaging revelations about Andrew’s relationship with Epstein. Attention intensified after Giuffre died by suicide on April 24, 2025. Her posthumously released memoir, Nobody’s Girl, reiterated her accusations. She wrote that Andrew “believed having sex with me was his birthright.”

It also later emerged that Andrew misled the public during his Newsnight interview. He had claimed he severed ties with Epstein in 2010. But on Oct. 12, 2025, British outlets published an email allegedly written by Andrew to Epstein shortly after the photograph with Giuffre resurfaced in The Mail on Sunday in 2011.

Andrew reportedly wrote:

“I’m just as concerned for you! Don’t worry about me! It would seem we are in this together and will have to rise above it.
Otherwise, keep in close touch, and we’ll play some more soon!!!!”

According to sources close to the royal household, King Charles acted with the support of senior family members, including Prince William. Andrew continues to deny all accusations against him.
