Nicki Minaj is drawing fresh attention online after posting what she says is a Trump Gold Card — just hours after she publicly defended President Donald Trump at the Trump Accounts Summit.

After appearing at the Wednesday, Jan. 28, event, the Trinidad-born rapper shared a photo of the card on X with a short caption: “Welp.” The image appeared to be from the same day, showing part of a white coat and her multicolored nails — matching what she wore earlier on Wednesday.

As the post spread widely, Minaj followed up with additional comments about what she said the card represents.

“Residency? Residency? The cope is coping. 😅 Finalizing that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming President. Thanks to the petition. 📋 I wouldn’t have done it without you. Oh CitizenNIKA you are thee moment. Gold Trump card free of charge,” she wrote in a second post.

The White House also retweeted Minaj’s original post with the photo of the card, adding: “ oh she’s super BASED ✨ http://trumpcard.gov.”

What the Trump Gold Card Website Says

On its official website, the Trump Gold Card is described as a “visa based upon an individual’s ability to provide a substantial benefit to the United States.” The site says applicants must pay a nonrefundable $15,000 Department of Human Services (DHS) processing fee.

The website also states that, after “careful consideration,” an “in-depth background check” and a vetting process by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, applicants are notified whether they have been approved.

It further notes that applicants must pay a $1 million “gift,” described on the site as “evidence that the individual will substantially benefit the United States.”

According to the same website, those approved would receive lawful permanent resident status as an EB-1 or EB-2 visa holder.

Her Summit Appearance and Planned Contribution

Earlier Wednesday, Minaj appeared at the Trump Accounts Summit, which promotes Trump Accounts — described on its website as “tax-advantaged investment accounts of U.S. citizens under the age of 18.”

The White House says the accounts would be available to every U.S. citizen born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028, and would “launch with a one-time $1,000 government seed contribution.”

Minaj plans to contribute between $150,000 and $300,000 to the Trump accounts, according to CNBC.

At the event, she praised Trump directly, saying she’s “probably the president’s No. 1 fan, and that’s not going to change.”

“The hate — or what people have to say — it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more,” she said. “And it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more.”

“We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him. He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen?” Minaj added.

Minaj also promoted her appearance at the summit on X, calling it “the true meaning of paying it forward” and saying it made her “very happy.”

Following the event, Minaj and Trump also filmed a TikTok together in which Minaj called Trump her “favorite president” and the “best president of all time.”
