Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have reached a settlement and officially finalized their divorce.

The Perfect Couple actress and the country music star, both 58, filed their agreement in court on Tuesday, Jan. 6—just three months after Kidman initiated divorce proceedings, citing irreconcilable differences.

According to court documents, the former couple agreed to waive all rights to child support and spousal support. Each party will also cover their own legal fees and related expenses.

As part of the parenting plan for their daughters, Faith, 15, and Sunday, 17, both parents are required to maintain a respectful and supportive environment. The agreement states that they must behave in ways that foster a loving, stable, consistent, and nurturing relationship with their children, despite the end of their marriage.

The plan further specifies that neither parent will speak negatively about the other or about members of the other parent’s family. Both are expected to encourage their daughters to maintain strong, loving relationships with each parent and feel comfortable in both households.

Under the custody arrangement, Kidman’s home will serve as the primary residence for Faith and Sunday, with the girls living with her for 306 days each year. Urban was granted 59 days annually, including every other weekend from 10 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday. Both parents will share joint responsibility for major decisions affecting their daughters’ lives.

The couple, who married in June 2006, had reportedly been living apart since early last summer. Their separation became public in September, when it was revealed that the family was leaning on close relatives for support during the transition.

Despite the end of their marriage, Kidman and Urban remain focused on prioritizing their children. The girls primarily live with Kidman but are free to spend as much time with Urban as they choose, with those close to the family emphasizing that the arrangement has been amicable and drama-free.

In recent weeks, Kidman has been spending meaningful time with her daughters. To welcome the new year, she shared a photo on her Instagram Stories showing the three of them from behind, arms around one another, overlooking the water in Sydney as fireworks lit up the sky. “Looking forward into 2026 xx,” she wrote, marking a hopeful start to a new chapter for the family.
