After authorities swarmed a residence near Nancy Guthrie’s home late Friday night, officials said Saturday that no arrests were made.

Police activity unfolded about two miles from Nancy’s Tucson, Ariz., home — where she was last seen — and was connected to the 84-year-old’s disappearance, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

A spokesperson said investigators executed a federal, court-ordered search warrant at a home near East Orange Grove Road and North First Avenue after receiving a lead in the case. Deputies also conducted a traffic stop and questioned one person, but no one was arrested. Officials said no additional details were available.

A neighbor, David Curl, told The New York Times the residence belongs to an older woman who lives with her adult son. He said the woman appeared distressed and stayed overnight at his home while investigators searched her house, adding that she did not understand why authorities were there and had no information about the disappearance.

The New York Times also reported that law enforcement personnel, including sheriff’s deputies and FBI agents, gathered around a gray Range Rover in a nearby Culver’s parking lot the same night. The outlet said the vehicle was photographed and later towed.

Nancy, the mother of “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie, was last seen at her Tucson home on the night of Jan. 31. Her family reported her missing around noon on Feb. 1.

The late-night search came the same day authorities said they collected DNA evidence from the home that does not match Nancy or her close contacts. Investigators said they are working to identify who the DNA belongs to and have not disclosed where it was found.

Officials have previously said blood matching Nancy’s DNA was discovered on an exterior porch. Gloves and other evidence recovered in the investigation are undergoing forensic testing.

The FBI has released surveillance footage showing a masked, armed person appearing to tamper with a Nest camera at Nancy’s front door on the morning of her kidnapping.

Ransom notes connected to the case have reportedly been sent to multiple media outlets. The FBI has said those communications are being investigated and that agents are not aware of any direct contact between the alleged kidnappers and the Guthrie family.

The FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for information that leads to Nancy’s recovery or an arrest.
