Comedy Central has unveiled a teaser for the show’s upcoming episode, hinting that the satirical series will keep its focus on Trump following its headline-grabbing Season 27 premiere.

The 20-second clip features a peculiar moment: Trump is seen at a formal dinner seated next to none other than Satan. As a speaker praises the president’s “courage,” Trump is shown rubbing Satan’s leg under the table—prompting Satan to quietly ask him to stop.

It remains unclear whether this bizarre scene will actually appear in the full episode or if it was created purely for promotional purposes. As fans know, South Park is infamous for producing its episodes just days before they air. In fact, during a recent Comic-Con panel, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone admitted they sometimes craft scenes exclusively for trailers—like they did for Season 27.

Regardless, the trailer suggests that Trump’s peculiar relationship with Satan may become a recurring thread throughout the season, not just a one-time gag.

When Does the New Episode Air?

According to the official South Park website, the next episode is set to premiere on August 6 at 10/9c.

White House Reacts After Trump Depiction in ‘South Park’

The Season 27 opener, which aired on July 23, pulled no punches—it portrayed Trump literally getting into bed with Satan. Using real images of the president superimposed on animated bodies, the parody resembled South Park’s infamous 1999 movie depiction of Saddam Hussein.

The segment didn’t go unnoticed. White House: ‘South Park’ hasn’t ‘been relevant for over 20 years’ after Trump parody

Responding to the episode, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers told USA TODAY that South Park “hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.”

The episode, titled “Sermon on the ‘Mount,” included a plotline in which Trump sues the town of South Park. As part of a settlement, the town agrees to promote pro-Trump messaging. The show then cuts to a mock PSA featuring a live-action Trump removing his clothes and crawling through the desert—complete with a title card reading, “PRO-TRUMP PSA 01 OF 50”—implying more may follow.

‘We’re Terribly Sorry’: Creators Address Backlash at Comic-Con

In their Comic-Con panel, Parker and Stone sarcastically addressed the controversy. “We’re terribly sorry,” Parker said with a grin, drawing laughter from the audience.

The duo also confessed they still hadn’t decided what the next episode would be about. “I don’t know what the episode is next week,” Parker admitted. “It’s super stressful.”
