Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun are “casually hooking up,” a source tells PEOPLE. Another insider also confirmed they are spending time together.
“Everything is casual. She is living her life and working hard,” one source added.
Sweeney, 27, and Braun, 44, were both guests at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice this June.
Reps for the actress and the music executive could not be reached for comment. The news was first reported by Star.
This comes months after Sweeney ended her engagement to Jonathan Davino. The pair started dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2022, but called it off this March after months of speculation. “She didn’t feel right about it,” a source told PEOPLE at the time, adding that Sweeney wanted to focus on her fast-rising career.

Braun was previously married to Yael Cohen. They wed in 2014, separated in 2021, and finalized their divorce the following year. The former couple share three children: Jagger, 10, Levi, 8, and Hart, 6.
In an interview with The Times published May 31, Sweeney confirmed her split from Davino, 42, and said she was single at that time. “I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I’m loving it,” she said.
Sweeney is currently filming Euphoria season 3. Her boxing biopic Christy will premiere this month at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, and she stars alongside Amanda Seyfried in The Housemaid, which hits theaters this Christmas.
Braun spoke about his relationship with Cohen, 38, during a July 17 appearance on Danielle Robay’s podcast Question Everything. He described her as “one of my best friends” and said they talk daily. “We don’t even call each other ‘ex.’ That’s like my partner. That’s the mother of my children,” Braun explained.

He added that Cohen is his “family for life” and revealed he even has a tattoo that says “same team” to symbolize their bond after divorce.
As for speculation that Taylor Swift’s 2022 track “Vigilante S—” was about their split, Braun dismissed the idea. “No, I never thought that was about us. [Yael] never thought it was about us either. Everyone else kind of fed into the fire. Great strategy move, but nah,” he said.
