The Biden administration “used the full power of the federal government against Christians,” according to President Trump’s leadership. A new report outlines what it calls “many examples” of anti-Christian bias and offers recommendations to protect religious freedom in the U.S.
Fox News Digital obtained the report from the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias, created by President Donald Trump and led by Attorney General Pam Bondi.
The task force’s goal was to make sure “any illegal or unfair policies or actions that target Christians are found, stopped, and corrected.”
The report provides an overview of “the harm that happens when religious freedom is not protected for all Americans.”
“The Task Force makes this promise: the federal government will never again be allowed to act against people of faith,” it says. “Under President Trump and Attorney General Bondi’s leadership, the law will be enforced fairly, and every religion will be treated equally.”
According to the report, “the days of anti-Christian bias in the federal government are over. Faith is a right in America, not a problem.”
After reviewing federal agencies, the task force identified “many cases of anti-Christian bias during the Biden administration.”
A White House spokesperson told Fox News Digital, “Joe Biden used the full weight of the federal government against Christians and violated their First Amendment rights. Unlike Biden, President Trump protects Christians rather than punishing them.”
The task force found that the Department of Defense, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Department of Labor “ignored, mishandled, or denied requests for religious exemptions” to Biden’s COVID-19 mandates.
At the Department of Education, the report says the Biden administration “tried to impose record fines on some of the country’s largest Christian universities, including Liberty University ($14 million) and Grand Canyon University ($37.7 million).”
The task force also said that at the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection ignored Christian perspectives in rules for detainees, while making accommodations for Islam, Rastafarianism, and some Jewish groups.
At the Justice Department, the report claims the Biden administration failed to “prosecute anti-Christian bias,” instead going after people for speaking or acting according to their Christian beliefs.
The task force found that the DOJ arrested about two dozen people under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act for praying or demonstrating outside abortion clinics but did not use the same law to protect churches or pregnancy centers.
The FBI reportedly called “radical-traditionalist” Catholics “domestic terrorism threats.”
At the Treasury Department, the task force noted that many “pro-Christian groups” were “debanked.”
The Department of State reportedly gave “limited humanitarian aid to Christians” compared with other groups and showed favoritism toward employees of non-Christian religions, including less time off for Christian holidays. The report also claims the State Department imposed LGBTQ policies that conflicted with the religious beliefs of some employees.
The Department of Labor replaced its faith-based initiatives office with a diversity, equity, and inclusion office.
The Department of Housing and Urban Development allegedly treated Christian holidays like Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter differently than holidays like Pride Month, Ramadan, and Diwali, removing Christian posts from social media while leaving others.
The task force started its work in April and continues to investigate anti-Christian bias in federal agencies during the Biden administration. A final report is expected in February 2026.
In February, President Trump signed an executive order creating a White House Faith Office. The office helps faith-based organizations, community groups, and houses of worship serve families and communities and advises on policy changes to align with American values.
