The former Prince Andrew made his first public appearance Saturday since his high-profile February arrest, surfacing at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. The 66-year-old was photographed walking his dogs under bodyguard supervision, marking a significant return to visibility as a criminal investigation into his ties to Jeffrey Epstein intensifies.

The sighting on March 21 follows a period of seclusion for the former Duke of York. Andrew was taken into custody on Feb. 19—his 66th birthday—following allegations that he shared confidential information with the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during his tenure as a U.K. trade envoy.

Authorities released Andrew pending further investigation after 11 hours of questioning at the Aylsham Police Station. A viral image of the former royal in the back of a police vehicle has since become a focal point of the ongoing scandal, signaling a new legal chapter in his long-standing connection to the Epstein network.

The current investigation gained momentum following the 2025 death of Virginia Giuffre and the posthumous release of her memoir, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice. Giuffre, who settled a sexual assault lawsuit with Andrew out of court in 2022, died by suicide last year at age 44.
