On Feb. 25, Tussey checked into the JourneyLite Surgery Center in Evendale, Ohio, for an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) performed by Dr. Shahryar Tork. Just hours before the procedure, Tussey posted a final video from her hospital bed, asking for prayers and expressing excitement for her “next chapter.”
According to statements from her husband, Jeremy Tussey, the surgery initially appeared successful. However, the situation turned critical in the recovery room:

- Medical Emergency: Shortly after being administered the painkillers dilaudid and fentanyl, Tussey became pale and unresponsive.
