Authorities have released newly obtained video that may show missing 19-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmos in the hours after she disappeared on Christmas Eve.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) shared the footage on Monday, Dec. 29. Investigators believe the video shows Camila walking northbound along Wildhorse Parkway near her home at about 7 a.m. local time on Dec. 24.
In the clip — posted to the BCSO’s Facebook page — a woman wearing a black hoodie and dark pants is seen walking along the roadway. The video was recorded by a motorist heading to work, News Nation reported.
Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said the footage appears to show Camila walking alone. “We believe that it captured Camila, just walking … alone, at least at that point, a few minutes after the video that was captured in her driveway,” he said, according to NewsNation.
Investigators say Camila left her home in the 11000 block of Caspian Spring in Bexar County on foot. She was last seen wearing a baby blue and black hoodie, baby blue pajama bottoms and white shoes. Authorities described the new video as the last confirmed sighting they currently have.
The update comes as investigators say they have enough information to believe Camila may be in “imminent danger.”
Camila was reported missing on Dec. 24 after she was last seen leaving her family’s home around 6:58 a.m. Her mother, Rosario, said the two had been sleeping in the same bed when she felt Camila get up. Camila was later seen on video in the driveway shortly before she disappeared.
Salazar told ABC News that investigators are not ruling out kidnapping, human trafficking, or the possibility that Camila left on her own. He also said authorities are considering “a whole spectrum of possibilities,” adding that there is concern about potential self-harm, per NewsNation.

Rosario reportedly contacted Camila’s boyfriend and father shortly after she vanished; both told her they had not seen the teen before she reached out to authorities.
